UPPSC Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2024 : Selection Process
The UPPSC Assistant Engineer Selection Process comprises Prelims, Mains, and Interview stages. The merit list will be prepared based on the marks scored in the Mains and Interview. The details of the selection process have been discussed below.
- Preliminary Exam : This is the first stage of the selection process. It will be a qualifying stage only to shortlist candidates for the further selection process. The exam will be an objective-type test for 300 marks.
- Mains Exam : This is the second stage of the selection process. It comprises two papers of 375 marks each. Marks scored in the Mains Exam will be used in preparing the merit list.
- Interview : Those who qualify the Mains Exam will be called for the interview. This stage carries a weightage of 100 marks. Mark scored in the interview will also be used for preparing the merit list.
