Essential Qualification & Remuneration :- The essential qualification and corresponding remuneration rates of the Consultants to be engaged under the scheme shall be as under :-

- 64 years as on date of advertisement i.e. 26.12.2024 The upper age limit for engagement under this Scheme is 65 years.
- However, the consultants to be engaged should be medically fit to perform his/her duties.

SAIL Consultants (Sports Coaches) Recruitment 2024 : Tenure of engagement
- The initial tenure of engagement of Consultants (Sports Coach) would be for a period of one (01) year or till attaining the age of 65 years whichever is earlier, which can be further extended for a period of one (01) year at the discretion of the Company. The maximum period for engagement under the same would not be more than 3 years. However, there will be no bar on re-engagement. The tenure of engagement shall be subject to the upper age limit as prescribed above.
- The performance of the Consultant (Sports Coach) so engaged will be reviewed on annual basis and the tenure can be curtailed or extended, subject to satisfactory performance.
SAIL Consultants (Sports Coaches) Recruitment 2024 : Job Description
- The Consultants (Sports Coaches) shall be engaged for Coaching/ Training the cadets of SAIL Sports Centers including SAIL Football Academy, Bokaro and Day Boarding Centers in the approved events of Basketball of BSL and Aklavya Archery Academy for mines. The Consultants (Sports Coaches) shall also be utilized for office / field works of Sports Department as & when required and their services shall be utilized in organizing any sports events by BSL. The Consultants shall perform work as entrusted to them for 6 hours a day for 6 days in a week. Further, if engagement is for less or more than 6 hours per day, the rates may be pro-rated accordingly. The monthly rate should not exceed the maximum prescribed limit of the respective category.

- Through “Walk-in-Interview” followed by a medical screening.
- Engagement will start immediately after the selection of the candidate is completed and orders are issued for engagement.
- Candidates responding to the advertisement for “ENGAGEMENT OF CONSULTANTS (SPORTS COACHES) IN BOKARO STEEL PLANT” will have to download the Application Form (Annexure I) and submit the duly filled application form along with the listed supporting documents at the time of ‘Walk-in-Interview’. No other mode of application will be accepted.
