Age Limit:
- Applicants under age 30 can apply for the SSC Stenographer 2024 Examinations, but remember, the age can vary depending on the grade you are applying for.
- Applicants will get age relaxation applicable under the government of India guidelines.
Citizenship:
- Applicants who are Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan.
- Applicants who have migrated from Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Eastern African Countries, and Vietnam can also apply for the SSC Stenographer 2024 examinations.
Educational Qualification:
- The minimum qualifications required to apply for the SSC Stenographer 2024 is intermediate passed from any recognized Board or equivalent courses.
- Applicants are required to have the eligible skill set of stenography from recognized institutions.
- The detailed educational qualification will be disclosed once the commission releases the SSC Stenographer 2024 notification.
Exam Pattern of SSC Stenographer Vacancy 2024
- The CBT test will contain a total of 200 objective-type questions (50 from General intelligence & reasoning, 50 from general awareness, and 100 from English Language & comprehension).
- The candidates will have 2 hours to complete the CBT test and give their best. Each question will carry one mark and with one wrong answer, the candidates will lose one-third of the marks allotted to the question.
- When the candidates clear the CBT exam, they have to appear for a skill test in stenography at the commission’s regional offices, where they have to showcase their stenography skill with 10 minutes of dictation in Hindi or English.
